My Treatments
Therapeutic massage therapy is an investment in your health. Caren may often recommend a combination of treatments for optimal results. Client feedback and input aid the clinician in determining pressure intensity and specific areas that need more attention. Additional modalities the therapist may add to the session, with the client's consent, are of no extra charge. These may include: cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM/scraping/Graston), stretching, and active release therapy (ART). Clients will be professionally draped during all sessions. All clients under 18 years old, need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Sessions by appointment only.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage can promote muscle and overall relaxation, improve circulation, and decrease stress. This is commonly referred to as a 'feel good' massage. The body is comprised of intricate interconnected segments, so at least a 1 hour full body massage is recommended. Pregnancy massage for clients past 18 weeks gestation is beneficial. Sidelying and inclined positions are available for pregnant patients.
Sports Massage

Sports massage typically involves deeper, more intense pressure in areas. It is often referred to as deep tissue massage, but is not just for 'athletes'. This can aid with chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, or specific areas the patient has needs. At least 60 minutes is recommended to be able to give a thorough full body massage with extra care on specific body areas. Caren's clients predominately request sports massage or a combination. For competitive athletes, plan for at least 48 hours for massage prior to competition.
Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a light touch treatment with the patient fully clothed. This treatment aids alignment of the small bones of the skull and releases restrictions of membranes and cerebral spinal fluid from the head down to the base of the spine. Patients have reported improvements with anxiety, concussion symptoms, migraines, digestion, focus, sleep, and many more. Forty-five to 60 min treatment time is recommended.
Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage utilizes slow, light touch to encourage the lymphatic system in remove swelling and excess fluid. While massage in general encourages lymphatic drainage, this can help with significant swelling from injuries, post surgical, after traveling, and pregnancy swelling. Caren currently treats dynamic insufficiency. 60 minutes recommended for either upper or lower body.
Normatec Recovery

Give your legs an extra boost with dynamic compression boots. Recover faster, revive muscles, and advance your wellness. Sessions of 15 minutes can be added during full body massage of at least 60 minutes; or 15 minute or 30 minute sessions can be scheduled independently of massage.
LED Red Light Therapy

LED Red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that is not damaging to the skin. Can help kill bacteria, minimize pores, decrease oil production, decrease inflammation, reduce scar or sun damage, build collagen, and promote healing. Sessions of 15 minutes can be added during full body massage of at least 60 minutes; or 15 minute or 30 minute sessions can be scheduled independently of massage.
